The INSIGHT Coordinating Center, housed at Weill Cornell Medicine, provides integrated services
to support research teams at different phases of the research cycle.
Pre-Award
We offer comprehensive pre-award support to help research teams develop competitive, well-aligned proposals. These services span study design, feasibility assessment, budgeting, and partnership development to ensure applications are methodologically sound and responsive to funding opportunities.
Streamlined budget development for research studies, including complex multisite projects.
Support identifying and engaging potential PCORnet CRN collaborators, as needed.
Expert guidance in study design, governance, patient/partner engagement, analytic strategy, and data architecture to strengthen Letters of Intent and full applications.
Rapid cohort estimates to support proposals and scope alignment. Results are aggregate level only.
Provision of tailored INSIGHT language for Letters of Support (LOS), Data Coordinating Center (DCC) descriptions, data management and INSIGHT/PCORnet capacity descriptions.
Support in developing preliminary sample and power considerations, identifying outcomes, and study design needed to support competitive application.
Post-Award
Our post-award services provide support to enable efficient, high-quality execution of research studies across the full project lifecycle. Services include data management, analytics, coordination, and flexible staffing to ensure studies are implemented effectively and produce actionable results.
Flexible access to INSIGHT expertise, including project management, data analysts, data engineers, informatics, biostatistics, governance/regulatory support, and patient/partner engagement. Staffing can be fractional based on study needs or delivered in full DCC scope.
Custom KPIs, statistical outputs, and dashboards that translate study aims into clear, actionable insights.
Centralized support for multisite studies, including governance, project management, site coordination, regulatory and operational workflows, quality control, timeline management, and site communication. Support can be tailored to the study.
Development and delivery of study-specific data extracts, including limited data sets, de-identified data sets, and PCORnet and OMOP extracts.
High-quality, analysis-ready data through PCORnet CDM refresh support, conformance checks, and study-specific data quality review.
